FAREWELL TO A FRIEND

Anna (35), is one of the most celebrated photographers in the local lesbian community.  She has recently lost the two most important people in her life when her friend and manager (also a woman) runs off with Anna's girlfriend.

 

In an act of desperation, Anna seeks out her manager's wife. She becomes entangled in a romantic relationship with her, becoming a father figure to her autistic son.

 

Set in a summer home on the shores of a lake, all seems picture perfect until the cracks begin to form and the pain of their betrayal bubbles up.

 

We cannot bypass the stages of grief, but the other side can be beautiful.
